Richard was the son of Richard Case, Sr., a Revolutionary soldier. His father, Ensign Richard Case, born 7 Jun 1734, was involved in the Lexington Alarm. See DAR record #A020367. He was also noted as a Sgt.

Veteran stone says: Oct. 7, 1830.

Richard's mother was Ruth Case.

Richard Jr. died at age 70. He married Jemima Moore.

I had info. that Richard Jr. was a Sarg. and also in the Revoltionary War. I have ordered a picture of his tombstone to help clearify this matter, if there is still a readable tombstone.

Another report:
This is the headstone of Serg. Richard Cases's oldest son, Richard, who was born
in 1760. The father, not the son, was solider in the Revolutionary War and was
involved in the Lexington Alarm. Per DAR records and numerous other
Revolutionary War databases.
