KINGS MOUNTAIN - Sheena Elaine Williams, 24, and her son, Alijah Blake Williams, 4, of 116 Sabre Drive, passed away together Jan. 24, 2009, due to an auto accident.
Sheena was born October 21, 1984, in Gaston County, daughter of Richard and Susan Williams of the home.
Blake was born Jan. 5, 2005, in Gaston County, son of James Harris Jr. of Charlotte.
In addition to her parents, Sheena is survived by her daughter, Lexi Lee of the home; grandparents, Ed Robinson, Wesley and Norma Williams; sister and brother-in-law, Carla W. and Travis Whiteside of Lincolnton.
In addition to his father, Blake is survived by his sister, Lexi Lee; grandparents, Richard and Susan Williams, David and Lorraine Messer; aunt and uncle, Carla and Travis Whiteside; great-grandparents, Ed Robinson, Wesley and Norma Williams, Joyce L. Hoffman of Orlando, Fla.
In addition to her son, Sheena is preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruby Robinson
Sheena was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Kings Mountain.
A funeral service for Sheena and Blake will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Rankin Lake Baptist Church in Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Jim Loftis. Interment will be held at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
