Patrick Roger Clayton, Jr., 44, of Horseshoe Bend, died Friday, January 23, 2009, in Salem, Arkansas.
Born October 16, 1964, in Walnut Ridge, Roger lived most of his life in Delaplaine. He attended Delaplaine High School and was of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, playing music and singing.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Roger Clayton, Sr.; mother, Bonnie Snider Clayton; and by one sister, Carol Clayton Jackson.

Survivors include one son, Billy Rod Clayton of Texas; three uncles, Gallen Snider of Concord, Arkansas, Glendon Snider of Crestwood, Kentucky, Fred Snider of Jonesboro; four aunts, Barbara Eubanks and Elwanda Clayton, both of Delaplaine, Syvilla Priest of Pocahontas, Dianna Pitcher of Paragould; one nephew, Heath Jackson of West Plains; and one niece, Brandy Figgins of Hardy. He also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 28th, at Pirtle Cemetery, Peach Orchard, with Rick Ethridge officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould. The procession will leave Mitchell Funeral Home at 10:15 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Keith Ooten, Ted Snider, Jimmy Snider, Don Keeling, Chris Manuel, Justin Shreve, Brandon Shreve, and David Priest.
