SALISBURY - Robin-Gene Claryse Goldin Foster, 48, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

Born Dec. 23, 1960, in Olean, N.Y., she was the daughter of Judy Gordon Goldin of Salisbury and the late Kenneth Goldin.

Preceding her in death was her brother, Brent Goldin, on Dec. 25, 2008.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Michael Foster, whom she married Jan. 1, 1992; sons James M. Foster of Asheville, Corbett-Edward Foster of the home; daughter Autumn-Loretta Foster, also of the home; and brother Jesse Goldin of Salisbury.

A 1978 graduate of Salisbury High School, she was employed as a supervisor for Rowan County 911 Telecommunications. Mrs. Foster was a member of Gay's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28 at Lyerly Funeral Home. Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29 at Rowan Memorial Park. The Rev. Tony Jordon will officiate.

Memorials: Rowan Relay for Life, c/o Frances Morris, 1103 Burkesway Drive, Salisbury, NC 28146.
