Services for Mrs. Estelle E. Martin, 62, Bryan, mother of a Poynor women, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, in the Thompson Funeral Chapel in Frankston with the Rev. Stewart Marshall officiating.
Burial was in the Poynor Cemetery.
Mrs. Martin died Saturday, July 19, in a Tyler hospital after a short illness.
She was born Feb. 23, 1924, in Halletsville.
She was a member of the Shiloh Club, the Eastern Star and the Ladies Auxillary of the VFW. She was a Luthern.
Survivors include a son, Dallas Ray Jones of Bryan; a daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Bonnie and Wendell Stringfield of Poynor; her mother, Mrs. Millie Doubrava of Frankston; two sisters, Mrs. C.V. (Leona) Hanks of Poynor, and Mrs. Mary Rozanusky of Houston; a granddaughter, a grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Johnny Bowman, Buddy Riley, James Riley, Bubba Jones, Johnny Hardman and Thomas Arrington.
