[On the back of her stone]
Her life exhibited a rare and happy balance between the spiritual and the practical. In her devotion to the interests of the kingdom of heaven, she never lost sight of the common duties incident to her membership in the kingdom of earth. She thought of herself as a citizen of the world and the range of her interests and sympathies led her to treat all men as her kindred, rich and poor, learned and ignorant, white and black, every class and every type had representation in the multitude of her friends. In her sight, her neighbor meant every human being who stood in need of her kind offices, and like her divine master she went about doing good.
