Frank J. Crews b. Aug 19, 1948
Frank J. Crews, 57, of Hoboken, died Wednesday (Dec. 14, 2005) at his residence following a lengthy illness.

A native of Brantley County, he was the son of Juanita Johns and Frank J. Crews. A sister, Billy Joe Crews and four brothers, Billy, Curtis, Tommy and Robert Crews, also precedes him in death.

He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a welder for Norfolk Southern Railroad in southern Atlanta. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Crews is survived by two sons, Timmy Crews, of Hoboken, and Tommy Crews, of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren, Thomas, Shane, Kody, Cole, Harley and Lexi Crews; three sisters, Patricia Altman (W.R.), of Stockton, Linda Cummings (Dan), of Jacksonville, Fla., and Joyce Ann Crews (Tony), of Las Vegas; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Graveside services will be today at 11 a.m. in the Hoboken City Cemetery. Arrangements are with Chambless-Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
