Betty Jo Wright Crews, 65, of Atkinson died Saturday, 12 JAN 2002, at her residence.

She was the daughter of David W. Wright and Henerietta Lovett Wright. Her late husband was William Bill Crews.

The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoboken Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Manning officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hoboken City Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Daniel Wright, Paul Diamond, Dean Stoneking, Terry McCarty, Stacey Walker and Donnie Leverett.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6 p.m. today at the Chambless Funeral Home in Nahunta.

Surviving are three sons, Danny Wright of Brunswick, John Crews of Jesup and Richard Crews of Hortense; a daughter, Pam McCarty of Hortense; a step-daughter, Brenda Crosby of Brookman; three sisters, Roebinna Stoneking of Milledgeville, Beatrice Fisher of Dunellon, Fla., and Linda Romano of Baton Rouge, La.; two brothers, Eugene Wright of Tallapoosa and Edward Wright of Lake City, Fla., six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and other family.

Mrs. Crews, a native of Wayne County, attended the Lulaton Baptist Church. She worked as a seamstress.
