Thomas Franklin Baggett, 72, Route 1, Palmyra, died Tuesday of injuries received in a farm accident.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. Lloyd Ashy and the Rev. Billy Bateman officiating. Burial will be in First Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the family residence.
Born in Montgomery County on May 5, 1909, he was the son of the late Matthew Baggett and Lida Ann Hodges Baggett.
He is survived by his widow, Anna Nesbitt Baggett, a son, Otis Baggett, Palmyra; two daughters, Minnie Akins, Lemont, Ill., and Elsie Smith, Shorewood, Ill.; three sisters, Evie Black, Fannie Rye and Ruth Nesbitt, all of Palmyra; and 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Baggett was a member of First Canaan Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Joe Bryant, C.J. Bryant, Harold Ellis, Lewis Broome, John Anderson and Lawrence Rye.
McReynolds-Nave Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
