DEATH OF T. J. MCKEE
Former (Defuniak) City Marshal T. J. McKee died at his home on Ninth street early Sunday morning from tuberculosis, and was buried that afternoon at the Valley cemetery, the funeral being under the auspices of the Woodmen of which he was a member, the religious services being conducted by Rev. E. L. Crawford, assisted by Rev. W. A. Winslett.

Mr. McKee has been serving as chief deputy under Sheriff Thad Bell since the first of the year until about six weeks ago when he was compelled to take to his bed and rapidly declined. Both as an officer and a citizen he was held (in high) regard and the wife and children he left have the deepest sympathy of the entire community.
