WINNABOW - Mrs. Ruth Simmons Caison, 79, of Winnabow, N C., died Tuesday evening in the Columbus County Hospital following an extended illness.
Mrs. Caison was born on Feb. 14, 1906, in Brunswick County, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Willard A. and Margaret Willetts Simmons.
She was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Kathleen C. Holden and Mrs. Patsy C. Robinson, both of Supply, N.C.; two brothers, Harry H. Simmons of Wilmington, N C., and Willard H. Simmons of Winnabow, N.C.; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 1985, in Mill Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Willetts Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening from 7 until 9 p.m. in the funeral home and at other times at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Patsy Robinson.
Active and honorary casketbearers will be Mrs. Caison's grandsons.
