Thanksgiving Reunion.
On last Thursday, Nov. 30th, at the hospitable home of Mr. J. W. Lett, of Eclectic, Ala., a festival, or grand old time family reunion was given.
Said reunion was practically composed of brothers, sisters and their children, and some few special friends.
Those present were T. J. Lett and wife and their charming daughter, Ida, Mr. W. A. Harmon and family and T. E. Hubert and family, all of Chambers County; Rev. M. F. Lett and nephew, of Chilton County; Mr. B. T. Lett, and sister, of Clay County; and Mr. Henry Johnson and family, of Atauga County; together with some few special friends of the vicinity, making a grand total of 72 individuals present.
The morning of the recital being exceedingly beautiful and promising could not be other than a day spent with much joy and happiness.
In the midst of such glee and happiness of this vast host of relatives and friends a most bountiful dinner was served, with many varieties of nice and delicious refreshments.
It was an evident and admitted fact that such a beautiful and delicious table is hard to find.
As the day drew nigh to a close, we bid the host and hostess adieu, and set anchor for our respective homes, with a God Bless you till we meet again.
- A Son.
