The funeral for Earl Hamen Lang, 70, 1303 N. 9th, a retired grocer, will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Guy R. Ryan Sons Mortuary, the Rev. Richard Taylor officiating.
Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary.
Mr. Lang died in St. John's Hospital Tuesday. He entered the hospital a week ago.
Mr. Lang was born Aug. 1, 1884, in Lincoln County and at one time operated a grocery store on North Ninth in Salina. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are the widow, Arvilla, a son and two daughters, Glen, Wichita, Mrs. Virgil Burton, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Wesley Waggle, Hutchinson, two step-sons and a step-daughter, Orville Smith, Salina; Don J. Smith, Denver, and Mrs. Clarys Reinbold, Salina; a half-brother, Melville Holmes, El Reno, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Thomas, Shady Bend; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
