Funeral services will be held in the Start Baptist Church Sunday at 3 p.m. for Christie E. Green, 52, of West Monroe, who died unexpectedly early Saturday morning after a heart attack while at work at the Olin Mathiesen Paper Mill in West Monroe.

Officiating will be the Rev. E. L. Hayes. Interment will follow in the New Start Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe.

Mr. Green was a native of Mississippi and had lived in West Monroe for 15 years.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alpha Green, 608 Mitchell Lane, West Monroe; three daughters, Mrs. Elsie Bryant, Memphis, Mrs. Elaine Seltzer, Hollywood, Calif., Miss Frances Ann Green, West Monroe; two sons, Jerry and John Henry Green both of West Monroe; and several grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be T. H. Spurlock, A. R. Robinson, C. C. Robinson, J. H. Bracken, C. H. Shields and J. C. Watson.
