Ida Mae Jackson of , McDonough, Dies, Rites Monday
Binghamton Press Bureau-Norwich-Mrs. Ida Jackson, widow of Albert Jackson, died Friday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Nightengale, in McDonough. She had been in ill health for the last two years.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Georgetown, May 23, 1870, the daughter of Charles and Anna Stowell Simpson. She had lived in North Pharsalia most of her life until two years ago, when she went to the home of her daughter.
She was a member of the Free Methodist Church of North Pharsalia.
She is survived by three sons, Elmer of Naples, Ralph of Cortland and Leroy of Philadelphia, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Henry Nightengale, McDonough, Mrs. Lillian Sayles of Herkimer and Mrs. Ethel Haskell of Cortland; 25 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Free Methodist Church at North Pharsalia. Burial will be in the Center Cemetery near North Pharsalia.
