Virginia August 9, 1862. Enlisted as a private in Company F, 4th Regiment Georgia Cavalry (Clinch's), August 19, 1863. Roll for June 1864, last on file, shows him present. Pension records show he surrendered at Doctortown, Georgia April 1865.
