Connie Allen, 53, of Bardstown died Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

Mrs. Allen was born September 19, 1955 in Bardstown. She was a 1974 graduate of Bardstown High School. She was long time employee of Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church, a former member of the First Baptist Church of Bardstown and the Ebonese Club.

Preceded in death by: Her father: John Owens; Her mother: Bertha Ford; 3 brothers: Raymond Ford, Ronnie Owens and Steve Owens; and 3 sisters: Betty Ann Ford, Wanda Owens, and Patricia Logan.

Survived By: 3 sons: Terris Allen of Erlanger, Terrance "T.J." Allen of Covington and Christopher Allen of Louisville; 3 grandchildren; 5 brothers: Charles Ford of Bardstown, Bobby Jackson of Raleigh, N.C., Antonio Owens of Bowling Green, Angelo Owens of Radcliff and Michael Owens of Fort Wayne, IN; 4 sisters: Jean Hayes of Waterloo, IA, Elizabeth Young and Brenda Ford, both of Bardstown and Joyce Owens of Youngstown, OH. 19 nieces and nephews, 42 great nieces and nephews, and 2 great great nieces also survive.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Parkway Baptist Church

Visitation will be helD Monday, January 26, 2009 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Tuesday, January 27, 2009 after 10:00 am. Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home
