The remains of Rev. Peter S. Crawford, 67, a prominent minister for many years who passed away at the residence of his son, M. T. Crawford, 1206 East Fourth street, Saturday night, will be laid to rest in Elmwood cemetery this afternoon at 3 o'clock. The funeral servivces will be conducted at the grave, Rev. Dr. Luther Little, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating.
The pallbearers follow: J. M. Staton, C. E. Fisher, C. M. Prince, P. R. Cates, E. E. Wheatley and L. W. Austin.
Mr. Crawford had served pastorates of Baptist churches chiefly in South Carolina and Georgia. He and his wife came to Charlotte about a year ago to make their home iwth their son.
