Married April 16, 1902 to Mildred Decker who survives.

William died at his home after an extended illness.

Children: Mrs. Sarah Croft, William A. Jr., Mrs. Mildred Bookhammer. And one son preceded him, James. Two grandchildren Jack and Robert Irvine were also living in the home. One brother, Ray of Philadelphia.
