Rites at Thorn for Mrs. Clark
Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Lizzie Clark, 72, who died at the Bruce Clinic, Bruce, Miss., after a three weeks' illness, were held at Thorn Friday afternoon at 2:30.
The Rev. E A Bailey, the Rev. E S Furr and the Rev. P Ray, officiated at the services.
Interment was in Georges Chapel. Hill Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Clark was born in Chickasaw county and was a lifelong resident of this county. She was a Methodist.
She leaves five daughters, Mrs. Irene Pettit, Thorn, Miss., Mrs. Minnie Skeen, Sledge, Miss., Mrs. Smith Strout, Thorn, Miss., Mrs. Earnest Sanders, Pittsboro, Miss., Mrs. Hulet Nolan, Bruce, Miss.; five sons, John Clark, Bruce, Miss., Flenoy Clark, Houston, Miss., Virt Clark, Thorn, Miss., Henderson Clark, Atlanta, Ga., and Leroy Clark, Dyersburg, Tenn.
She is also survived by five sisters, Mrs. G W Roebuck, Houston; Mrs. Mary Duncan and Mrs. J M Evans, Vardaman, Miss., Mrs. H M White, Marks, Miss., and Mrs. Emma Ferguson, Vardaman, Miss.
