AUBURNDALE, Fla. - Lottie "Sis" Marie Acord Vaught Cook, 74, formerly of Twin Falls State Park, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, at her daughter's residence in Florida.

Born June 21, 1926, in Sabine, she was the daughter of the late Noah Everett and Pearl Cook Acord.

Mrs. Cook was a retired teacher's aide, working for the Wyoming County Board of Education.

Survivors include her husband, Luther F. Cook; four daughters, Marilyn Ginetta Acord and her husband, Howard Fowler, of Cleveland and Auburndale, Julie Horton of West Virginia and Auburndale, Terri Lynn Blake and her husband, Greg, of Ravencliff and Sheila Manning and her husband, Harold, of Glen Daniel; a son, Lawrence "Skip" Vaught and his wife, Carolyn, of Geneva, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joy Lester and her husband, Al, of Oregon and Trecia Polling and her husband, Paul, of Ohio; three brothers, Jack Acord and his wife, Hallie, of Ohio, Tracy Acord and his wife, Josie, of Virginia and Dale Acord and his wife, Arlene, of Florida; and a sister-in-law, Nola Acord of Bolt.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Ravencliff, with Pastor Kerry Lilly officiating.

Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call noon until time of services Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the Pine Grove Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 52, Ravencliff, WV 25913. Arrangements by Evans Funeral Home, Oceana.
