CATHERINE MARIE COKER
Funeral services for Catherine Marie Coker will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 27 at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Coker, a resident of Oklahoma City, formerly of Ft. Towson, passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at the age of 68.
She was born on Nov. 15, 1938 in Ft. Towson to William and Ella Mae (Easterwood) Cawley. Catherine married Billy Coker April 1, 1959 in Hugo. She was of the Baptist faith and had lived in Oklahoma City for the past 48 years after moving there from Ft. Towson. Catherine graduated from Ft. Towson High School and attended Southeastern Oklahoma State College for one year. She had worked as an office manager for Oklahoma City Credit Union in Oklahoma City.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ella Mae Cawley.
Catherine is survived by her husband, Billy Coker of Oklahoma City; daughter Vickie Lynn Gaston and husband Mike of Moore, Okla.; brother, William Cawley of Hugo; three sisters: Jane Dickson of Ft. Towson, Pat Wright and husband Terry of Hugo and Margaret Johnson of Hugo.
The Reverend Melvin Holleman will officiate the services. Intermittent will follow at Springs Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
