Born April 17, 1948, in Sikeston, son of Clera E. Littrell Beeson of Sikeston and W.T. Beeson, who preceded him in death on June 4, 1982, he had been a deputy with the New Madrid County Sheriff's Department and security guard for Noranda Aluminum in New Madrid County. He had owned and operated Thurman's MFA Station in New Madrid and was a member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Survivors in addition to his mother include: one son, Tony Beeson; his fiancee, Barbara Flippo; one brother, Tommy Beeson; two sisters, Karen McBride, and Jacqueline Hubbert; and two grandsons and one stepgranddaughter.
One brother, Bobby Carl Beeson, preceded him in death in August 2002.
Visitation was at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted with the Rev. Randy Lemons, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial followed in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
