GALLUP - A graveside service for Harvey J. Craig, 72, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fort Bayard in Silver City.
He died Sunday in Truth or Consequences after a long illness. He was born Dec. 5, 1920 in Gold Field.
He was a life long resident of Gallup
Survivors include his wife,. Margaret Craig, of Gallup; daughters, Valerie Messner and Vivian Craig of Oklahoma City, Okla.; step-daughter, Debra Sue Jeffries of Duncan, Ariz.; sons, Danny Craig and Alton Craig of Mesa, Ariz.; stepsons, Buddy Jeffries, Mike Jeffries and Randy Jeffries, all of Gallup, and Danny Jeffries of Vancouver, Wash.; adopted-son; Guy Craig of Oklahoma City, Okla.; brother, Will Craig of Chaparral; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Francis Craig; father, James Edward Craig; end brother, Ralph Craig.
Pallbearers will be Will Craig, Buddy Jeffries, Bob Jeffries, Randy Jeffries, Danny Craig and Alton Craig.
