Residence: Wabash County, Indiana. First enlisted as a Private on 17 October 1862 in Company I, 8th Infantry Regiment Indiana. Discharged from Company I, 8th Infantry Regiment Indiana on 24 June 1863.

Second enlisted as a Private on 18 February 1864 in 14th Light Artillery Regiment Indiana. Died of diease on 25 November 1864 at home in Wabash, Indiana.
