Dicky Van Williamson, Sr, 68, of Mauriceville, Texas, died Monday, July 22, 2002, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. A native and lifelong resident of Mauriceville, he owned and operated Williamson House Movers in Mauriceville.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, July 25, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, Texas, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Novie Williamson of Mauriceville; son Dicky Williamson, Jr. of Lumberton, Texas; daughters, Angela Raley of Orange, Texas, and Renee Williamson of Mauriceville; sister, Altha Freeman of West Orange, Texas; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
