Janice Freudenthal McCord, 66, of Billings, passed away on Jan. 22, 2009. She was born on May 12, 1942, in Thermopolis, Wyo., where she went to school and graduated from Hot Springs County High School.

Janice later moved to Billings, where she enrolled in Cosmetology School. She married Russell McCord on Oct. 13, 1962. They had three sons, Dennis, Daniel and Russell. She was a stay at home mother, but did dedicate some of her time to care for handicapped children, which she did for a number of years. She also worked as a seamstress for a time, until ill health forced her retirement.

Janice is survived by her sons, Dennis (Grace), Dan (Therese) and Russell (Barbara); grandchildren, Thomas, Susannah, Paul, Keith, Sarah, Michael, John, Davey and Rachael; brothers, Neil, Steve, David and Denis; sisters, Wilma and Wanda Jean; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; parents Lewis and Lucille Freudenthal; sister Mary Elaine; and several aunts and uncles.
