Abstract--age 54, of Newburg, died Jan. 18, 1979 at University Hospital. She was born in Newburg, Sept. 7, 1924, d/o the late William Brooks and Lula Wright Shay. She was employed as a nurses aide at the Grafton Hospital for 16 years. She is survived by her husband, Robert Dale Hovatter, of Evansville; one daughter, Mrs. Roxanne Cline of Evansville; one brother, Wallace Blake Shay of Connecticut, one grandson; her step-mother Irene L. Shay.
