On March 11, 1939, Inez was united in marriage to Charles Barnhart in Elkader. Together they farmed in the Colesburg area, until they retired to town. Inez has been a resident at the Edgewood Convalescent Home and Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center in Cedar Rapids for the past eight years. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Colesburg. Inez enjoyed her children and grandchildren, playing cards, sewing, and reading.
Survivors include her four children, Gary (Joyce) Barnhart of Greeley, JoAnn (Allyn) Meyer of Cedar Rapids, Virgil Barnhart of Manchester, and David (Rebecca) Barnhart of Colesburg; twelve grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jennie Haines of Ankeny.
Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Charles on March 29, 1964; her parents; one grandson, Kevin Barnhart; one brother, Robert Radabah; and one sister, Eleanor Bolsinger.
