Born June 22, 1942, in Princeton, AR, he was former owner of Wendell's Grocery and Bait Shop, a purchasing agent for Polyvend, a mason, and a Methodist.
Wendell was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Ann (Bradley) Tucker; his mother, Winnie (Chandler) Tucker of Benton; a brother, Ronnie Tucker and wife Louise of Benton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Tucker.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Wooster.
Visitation is Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Spradlin, Dennis Spradlin, David Spear, Rick Spear, Ryan Tucker, and Rory Tucker.
