Naomi Ruth Sparks, 98, of Shadyside, OH passed away at 5:43 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Shadyside Care Center.
Born July 6, 1910 in Owensburg, IN she was the daughter of Ed and Daisy (Fields) Strosnider.
She was a beautician at Milady Beauty Shop in Switz City, IN. She was a member of the Switz City Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include one daughter Rhea Dawn Rose of Bellaire, Ohio; three grandchildren, Tony Rose and wife Sue, Michael Rose and wife Jenny, Mark Rose and wife Lisa; five great-grandchildren Chad, Taylor, Michael, Meghan and Marissa Rose.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Estel "Sparky" Sparks in 1959, one son Richard Lee Sparks, one great-grandson Mark Allan Rose, one brother Harold Lancaster and her parents.
There will be no calling, a private family graveside service will be Monday at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Bloomfield with Chris Gehring officiating.
