Miss Effie Weaver Passes In Tulsa
Miss Effie A. Weaver of Tulsa died late last Thursday following a three-month illness.
She was born Jan 6, 1882, in Brazil, Ind.
She had been a resident of Oklahoma since 1902, and moved to El Reno in 1905. She was a member of the W.S.C.S. and of the Red Cross, and most recently was a Tulsa resident tor many years. Miss Weaver was a member of the Christ Methodist church in Tulsa.
Survivors include her nephews J. Walter Weaver, Tulsa, and Ear Weaver, Columbia, South America, a sister, Mrs. Eleda Anderson, Brazil, Ind., and a niece, Mrs. Doris Payne, also of Brazil.
Services were held at the Wilson funeral home chapel last Saturday morning, with Rev. Thomas Raper officiating. Burial was In the El Reno cemetery.
