She married Walter Timothy Parsons on February 17, 1900 in Ray County, Missouri. Their children were Florence Lillian, Ermelee Bessie, Noah William and Ernest Raymond.

Paternal grandparents were William Akers and Mary Jane Seek.

Maternal grandparents were George C. and Elizabeth Smith.
