Eugene F. Crum Sr., 92, Portage, died Wednesday at Windber Medical Center. He was born in Elton to Elmer & Amelia (Hoffecker) Crum. He was predeceased by wife, Mary E. (Bunn); grandchildren: David, Shari, Kenneth and Ben; sons-in-law: Richard Wertman, Donald Davis and Grant McQuillen; brothers: Alfred, Charles, Roy and Harvey; and a sister, Frieda. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are children: Doris McQuillen of Portage, Carole Davis of Mesa, Ariz., Sally (Robert) Barnes of Blue Knob and Eugene Jr. (Rose Ann) of Homasassa, FL; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and bowler. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today, Jan. 23, 2000, at Kinley Funeral Home, Portage, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment, Mount Moriah Cemetery, Blue Knob.
