He married the former Winifred Parke on July 28, 1952. She died March 6, 2004.
He retired in 1991 from Superior Sand and Supply Co. in Eastbrook, where he was a heavy equipment operator for 25 years. He attended New Wilmington schools. He served in the Army. He enjoyed repairing and driving tractors.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol, Cheryl and Robin, all of Mercer County; two sons, John Kloss of New Wilmington and Robert Kloss of New Castle; two sisters, Dwella Kozakevich of Tucson, Ariz., and Edith Sipe of Volant; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Robinson and Doris Steffee; and three brothers, Raymond Kloss, William Kloss and James Kloss.
Visitation is noon to 1 p.m. today at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, 111 W. Falls St.A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home. The Rev. Patrick M.
