William M. Weaver, 39 years old, son of Mrs. R. M. Weaver, of 608 Clifton Court, Fort Smith, Arkansas and the late R. M. Weaver, died unexpectedly of heart seizure on Wednesday, May 29, 1963 at Norman, Oklahoma. He was an instructor in English at the Oklahoma University and was completing his Doctor degree.

Besides his mother he leaves two aunts, Mrs. Cabol Rhodes of Van Buren and Mrs. Pat Malone of Fort Smith.

He was a veteran having served with the navy 1943 to 1946; he earned his AB degree at Oklahoma University and his Masters degree at the University of Wisconsin where he taught English for ten years prior to returning to Oklahoma.

He was born on November 1, 1923 and was the great grandson of the late Judge McKinney of Van Buren.

Mr. Weaver's brother, Jerry Weaver lost his life six years ago in the crash of a jet plane in California. He was a member of the Naval Air Force and a graduate of Annapolis. His father R. M. "Bob" Weaver died four years ago of a heart seizure. He was an employee of the Fort Smith Vehicle.

The funeral services was held at 10 o'clock Friday in Fentress Mortuary chapel. Thomas B. Gallaher, pastor of First Presbyterian church, was the officiating minister. Burial was in Roselawn cemetery.
