Tommy Lee McKinney was born September 3, 1959 in Clayton, Missouri to Tommy L. Spraggins and Barbara McKinney. Tommy has made his home in Woodward for 25 years.
Tommy volunteered at the Grace Living Center on Sunday mornings. He enjoyed singing during the church services. Tommy loved music and enjoyed singing at various functions. Four years ago he was a disc jockey for the local radio station.
He gained custody of his son T.J. in 2000.
He is survived by his son Tommy Lee "T.J." McKinney of the home; his mother Barbara McKinney Burns of Tulsa; seven sisters, Lawanda Richardson, Pamela Summers, Grace Jordan, Lisa Jones, Anita Spraggins, Myrna Sykes, Celeste Wilkins; three brothers, Richard McKinney, Dennis McKinney, Tommy Spraggins; very special Friends, Dianna Hyde, Ruth Jackson, Judy Varnell, Delores Gonser, Joan Alexander and all the staff of Independent Opportunities.
He will be missed by all his friends and family and everyone that was used to seeing him drive his scooter around Woodward.
