Lonnie Dale Smith, 57, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, in Arlington.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Harley Martin will officiate. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Lonnie was born in Mineral Wells and had been an area resident for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his father, A.J. Smith, on Feb. 25, 2007.
Survivors: His sons, Kirk Smith and wife, Donella, of Berryville, Ark., and Bryan Smith and wife, Laura, of Pasadena; daughters, Heather Nicole Smith of Fort Worth, Krystal Smith of Granbury and Brittany Smith of Aledo; mother, Dorothy Smith of Azle; brothers, Steve Smith of Springtown and Tim Smith and, wife, Teresa of Azle; sister, Judy Paschall and husband, Asa, of Roswell, N.M.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
