Services for Mrs. Lonie M. Wilson will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003, in the Church of Pentecost, Ball, with Reverends Carl Wheatley and Roger Tonny officiating. Burial will be in Cox-Quin Cemetery, Tullos, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

Mrs. Wilson, 97, of Ball died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, in Tioga Manor Nursing Home.

She was an active member of the Church of Pentecost in Ball, La.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel M. Wilson; two sons, J. D. Wilson and Quincey Wilson; parents, Willard and Nancy Mercer; six brothers and three sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include daughter, Yvonne Sanders and her husband, D. B. Sanders, Jr.; grandson, Michael R. Sanders, granddaughter, Sandra G. Vermillion; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Saturday at the Church of Pentecost from 10 a.m. until service time.

Pallbearers will be Arther Burns, D. C. Sanders, Westley Vermillion, Nick Verret, Mike Sanders, Drake Vermillion, Roy Mercer and Julius Mercer.
