Note: New Haven Vital Records say his birth was November 14, 1669 and "Early Families of Wallingford, Ct" by Charles Henry Stanly Davis says he was born Nov. 16, 1669.
On June 16, 1714, John Ives was the 24th proprietor to draw a home lot & he drew #19. He was made a freeman of Wallingford on April 30, 1730 along with Samuel, Joseph & Lazarus Ives.
