Sturgis --- Graveside services for Otto J. McClure, 68 a former Black Hills area resident, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Black Hills National Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Vallo officiating.

A memorial has been established to the Washington County Hospital in Akron, Colo.

McClure died Saturday at his home in Otis.

He was born Oct. 22, 1916, in Ava, Ill., to Thomas and Leota McClure. He grew up in Illinois and was employed in trucking. McClure served in the Army during World War II. In 1947 he moved to Lead, where he was employed by Homestake Mining Co. He married Teresa Enger Nov. 21, 1949, in Hill City. McClure worked in construction for federal and state highways in South Dakota, Colorado and Wyoming. In 1980 he moved to Otis from Lander, Wyo.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa, and daughter, both of Otis; two granddaughters; two sisters, Velda McCann and Ida Hamilton; and a brother, John of Ava, Ill.
