Harold, 80, was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to James Harold and Hazel (Haynes) Williams, and they preceded him in death.

He married Lois Purviance and she preceded him in death also. He retired in 1982 from Owens-Illinois Glass Factory, where he worked for 32 years as a forklift operator. He enjoyed photography, bird watching, reading, traveling, boating, motorcycling, and water skiing. He was an avid Cubs and White Sox fan.

Survivors include daughters, Ellen Inez, Marion, Sara McCoy, Marion, Treva Gay (Randy) Neier, Marion, Gail (Mike) Waak, LaFontaine, Debora (Charles) Smith, Marion; half-sisters, Mary Sue Harrold, Ruth Crawford, Phyllis Olson, Helen Rackowitz; half-brother, Clyde Berner; grandchildren, Christopher A. Rowe, Megan McCoy, Jenna McCoy, Angela (Douglas) Burnett, Leath Smith, Ellie Smith; ex son-in-law, Robert McCoy, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Clara, and Alex.

He was preceded in death by sister, Patty Owens; and stepfather, Fred E. Berner.
