H. A. FAETH dies today
Harvey A. Faeth, 66, 1708 Avenue G, died today in Sacred Heart hospital. Death terminated a short illness.
Mr. Faeth was born Oct 25, 1900 in Lee Co. Iowa and was a lifelong resident of this area. He was a retired Santa Fe railroad engineer.
On Oct 14, 1922 at Keokuk he married Marion Muernoff, who survives. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church, the Holy Name Society and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son Eugene Faeth, Fort Madison, Iowa a daughter Rose Marie Faeth, also of Fort Madison, Iowa, a half sister, Nan Berg, who lives in California and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two half brothers Albert Theodore Faeth and Aaron Isaac Faeth and two half sisters Edna "Dyana and Katharine H.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Mondy in St. Mary's church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison, Lee Co., Iowa. The body is at Nieters Chapel where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
