Dr. J.T. Buchanan Died Monday in Ft. Worth
Dr. J.T. Buchanan, age 86 years, who was a pioneer doctor of Parker County, died Monday morning at the home of his son, Carl Buchanan in Fort Worth.
Dr. Buchanan, it will be remembered by our older people was a practicing physician in the Sabathany community, in Northeast Parker County, many years ago, and he was well known, honored and esteemed by many friends in this county.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Church of Christ in Springtown, by Rev. Fred McClung, and he was laid to rest in the Springtown cemetery beside his wife whose death occurred thirty seven years ago.
Besides the son in Fort Worth he is survived by another son, J. M. Buchanan of Katy, Texas, and seven grandchildren.
