SHARP, MOSSIE I. (BUCKNER) - age 91, of Powell, passed away 10:20 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2002, at Mariner Healthcare of Norris. Preceded in death by husband, William O. Sharp, Sr. son, Lillard Sharp parents, Tom and Lula (McHone) Buckner brothers, Delbert, Hubert, Curtis and Roy Buckner, and sister, Ollie Tharp. Survivors: sons, Eugene Sharp and William O. Sharp, Jr. daughters, Bernice Henderson and Lela Hunter daughter-in-law, Laverne Sharp son-in-law, Charles Hunter 12 grandchildren 16 great-grandchildren three great-great grandchildren brother, Thomas (Junior) Buckner of Luttrell sisters, Minnie Savage of Luttrell, and Frances Savage of Dayton, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 8:00 p.m. Wednesday Cooke Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jerry Savage officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Thursday, Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Tim Sharp, Brian Patrick, Kevin Dyer, Derek Waldrop, Floyd Patrick, James Neff, and Jeffrey Burkhalter. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Cooke Mortuary, Knoxville.
