SPRINGTOWN - LeRoy C. Brockelman, 78, an aviation mechanic, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, at an Azle hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home in Springtown.
Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: noon to 9 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Brockelman was born March 16, 1919, in Emporia, Kan., and had been an area resident since 1968. He served in the U.S. Army for a brief time before being medically discharged. Mr. Brockelman was a tech-rep for Boeing Aircraft for 20 years. He was a member of Ridglea Church of God.
Survivors: Wife of 60 years, Velma Brockelman; sons, Deloy Brockelman and O.C. Brockelman, all of Springtown; daughters, Karen Eastin of Fort Worth, Gayla Cooper of Austin, Vicki Hancock of Azle; 14 grandcildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Eldon Brockelman of Phoenix; sisters, Naomi Reust of Dewey, Okla., and Izoria Knabe of Derby, Kan.
