Mrs. Catherine Graffius of 1516 Seventeenth avenue, widow of Christian G. Graffius, died suddenly at her home at 7 o'clock this morning. She was born in Sinking Valley on July 4, 1843, a daughter of Simon and Mary (McCreedy) Isett.

Surviving are two sons, J. E. and Charles Graffius, both at home; two grandchildren, Calvin and John and one sister, Mrs. Juniata Graffius of the city.

The body may be viewed at the Gilden funeral home.

GRAFFIUS—Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Graffius of 1516 Seventeenth avenue will he held at 1.30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Gilden funeral home by Rev. Luke H. Rhoads of the First Lutheran church. Interment in Carson Valley cemetery. Friends are being received at the Gilden funeral home.

She and Isaac Crawford had a son Jesse Crawford born 5/9/1865. Isaac was born May 25, 1829 in Sinking Valley, PA.

She then married Christian Graffius. Their children include: Juniata, William J. Charles, James E, Samuel C.
