Born in Brodhead, KY on March 19, 1920, she was the daughter of Harlan and Terry Skidmore.
She and her husband of 55 years, James D. Arthur, were married Dec. 22, 1951.
Following graduation from high school in Kentucky, she enlisted in the U. S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict.
She was a member of New Life Church, Pennsdale.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Geoffrey Arthur and wife, Laura, of Hughesville; and Pastor Jim Bullock and wife, Betty Jane, of Palm Coast, FL; one sister, Marie Coffey of Milford, OH; one brother, Jerry Skidmore of Lexington, KY; six grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Harrison.
A family graveside service in Muncy Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
