OBITUARY - source unknown Funeral services for Henry W. Osterloh, 77, were held Saturday, Dec. 13, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Wilmot, with Rev. Harold Hintzman, pastor, officiating. Pallbearers were Ervin Bohlen, Howard Bukttke, Harold Mailey, Gordon Osterloh, Merle Osterloh and Marlyn Harms. Interment was at Wilmot Cemetery.
Henry passed away following a long illness on Wednesday, Dec.10 at St. Bernard's Hospital, Milbank. He was born June 23, 1903, to Henry and Katherina (Gerdes) Osterloh at Wilmot. He attended schools in Garfield Township. On April 13, 1925, he was married to Katie Harms at Wilmot. Henry was a life long resident of the Wilmot area. He farmed in Garfield Township until December,1976, when ill health forced him to retire. He had been a resident of the Wilmot Community Home since December 23,1976. Henry was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Wilmot.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Katie Osterloh; two daughters, Mrs. Willard (Dorene) Lundgren, Wilmot, and Mrs. Carol Magnuson, Mpls, Minn.; one brother, Louis, Wilmot; sisters, Mrs. Pauline Rydberg, Wilmot, Mrs. Emma Lundquist, Mpls, Minn., Mrs. Anna Essler, Mpls, Mrs. George (Ida) Opitz, Garrison,Minn., Mrs. Gordon (Edna) Olson, Bagley, Minn., Mrs. Dolores Beilke, Mpls; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. ~~ Obituary provided by: jhintz
