Betty Jean was the oldest of six children to Rev Dan and Nell Cleveland and born on February 28, 1922. Her siblings were Mary Jane, Lenore (Tuffy), Claude (Sonny), Donnell and Robert (Bob).

She was very active in the family church which was founded in 1937. She was a talented piano player and sang in the choir and in many of the church groups. She even preached a sermon a time or two.

Betty Jean married EMMETT F. ROBBINS I and they had two children, Linda and Emmett F. Robbins II (Buddy). (Emmett passed away in 1977, Linda in 2011 and Buddy in 1985. Granddaughter Rhonda passed in 2003.)

Betty Jean's second marriage was to SIMON(SAM)CHAVEZ who already had children. They had no children together. (Sam passed away in 2004.)

Betty Jean's third marriage was to KENNETH PETERS and they had no children together. (Ken passed away in 2013.) Betty Jean passed away on November 29, 2006 after numerous health issues.

Betty Jean was outspoken and never afraid to make a friend no matter where she was.
